Financial Accountant, here is where your challenge starts:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to strengthen the Group Finance team. This role is responsible for the accounting, administration and reporting of the holding company and the international licensing company. The Group Finance team has nine team members and reports to the CFO. The Financial Accountant reports to the Group Financial Controller. 
 

Specific responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the administration of the holding company and international licensing company in Workday Finance.
  • Monthly reporting for consolidation purposes.
  • Obtaining of intercompany transactions and ensure balance reconcile.
  • Invoicing and collection of external and internal revenue.
  • Filing of tax (VAT) returns jointly with the Group Tax Manager.
  • Maintaining clean and adequately supported balance sheet positions.
  • Various admin activities related to other core activities.
  • Facilitate and support with the annual Group audit.
  • Closely working with the Business Controller for the annual budget, quarterly forecast and monthly business report.
  • Continuous review and improvement of processes, this includes business processes in Workday Finance.

Qualifications and experience:

  • BA or Masters degree in financial related study.
  • Experienced financial accountant with 6-8 years experience.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of IFRS.
  • Strong Excel skills and preferable experience with Workday Finance.
  • Work experience in an international setting.
  • Fluent in English and good understanding of Dutch.
  • Eye for detail but also able to take a helicopter view and strong analytical skills.
  • Pro-active self-starter taking ownership.
  • Good communicator and team player.
