Overview of the International Productions Team 
The International Productions Team functions as a Centre of Excellence that ensures the success of End-to-End process for our global productions across markets. End-to-end process covers from selection of titles and investment decisions through the production to analysis during and after show’s running period.

The way international productions team operates is based on the 'One Company' philosophy of intensive global/local collaboration, co-creation and synergies, with a closely-knit international production expert community.

One of the key responsibilities of the team is coordinating the investment approval process for all our productions and set clear and achievable performance goals. Under the guidance of the Business Director for International Productions, this role will be in charge of preparation of business cases for and performance tracking of all future and current productions. The successful applicant is self-sufficient in creating insightful financial and strategic analysis, which supports business cases. He or she is responsible for getting the correct (financial data), will challenge the country teams and track the progress and status of the business cases. Next to that the International Financial Strategy Analyst supports in licensor negotiations and legal agreements.
 

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • With the guidance of the Business Director for International Productions and together with country teams, create, review and analyze the business cases of new productions
  • Support in building financial models for business cases with the correct financial data
  • Set clear, achievable and fact & data based financial and strategic targets for the group portfolio
  • Carry out financial and strategic analysis to help top-executives make fact-based decisions
  • Track the progress/status of business cases, licensor negotiations and legal agreements
  • Coordinate the country teams to adhere to end-to-end process calendar
  • Review contracts carefully and ensure compliance
  • Analyze external investment papers and challenge external producers
  • Support the Business Director International Productions in the OPEX (Operational Excellence) process


Qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university from an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Math, etc.)  
  • 2-3 years of experience at a strategy consulting firm or at a multinational company with a strategy or finance related role
  • Experience in building financial business cases/models and managing projects/processes
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual problem solving skills
  • Excellent Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills (Nice to have: other data analytics tooling knowledge, such as Phyton or R)
  • Experience in coordinating stakeholders to meet process deadlines and reach defined objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work successfully across cultures and in an international and fast-paced corporate environment
  • Experience in licensing, programming or producing theatre in Germany, Spain, France, or the Netherlands
  • Team player who is proactive and self-motivated
  • Keen and willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English (Dutch, German or any other continental European language is a plus)
